More on the War Museum

I find my thoughts returning to the War Remembrance Museum more and more.
The pictures in the war museum are too awful to contemplate but too important to forget.  The horrors of war were extreme for both sides.  As Nietzsche said memory is what binds us together.  Or a William Faulkner put it “the past is never dead, it’s not even past.”  What does this war tell us about our present and our future?
