It’s been wonderful to wander through all the shrines and temples of Kyoto during the High Holy Days. There is a spiritual sense in these places that allow my thoughts to travel to higher planes. I have been able to reflect on my life and be thankful for the many blessings I have received. For my wonderful family and friends who have enriched my life in ways too countless to enumerate I am very grateful. I hope that my father, sisters, children and grandchildren and all our extended family and friends are inscribed in the book of life for the coming year.
