Only a week to go. We're pretty organized. The bird is staying with a very nice family. The house will be inhabited and cared for. We've finished with the travel clinic and are up to date with our shots and medications. Madly trying to see friends before we go but are running out of time. Many of our friends have been extremely generous about sharing their experiences, insights, guidebooks and maps with us and we're grateful for that. Now getting ready to pack.
