I Learn About a Korean Creation Myth

I've always been interested in creation myths and just learned about this one about the founding of the Korean people.

The ruler of the sun controlled the world and all the people.  The people were not organized.  A tiger and a bear came to the sun god and asked to be made human.  The sun god said if they could live in a cave for a full circuit of the moon and only eat garlic and beans they would be made human.  The tiger lasted for only a few days before fleeing the cave but the bear remained for the full waxing and waning of the moon.  So the sun god turned her into a beautiful woman.  After a while the woman became lonely and asked for a child so the sun god mated with her and produced a son.  He united a group of people into Korea and he became the first ruler of the Korean people.
